Our truest expression yet of a Monticello Chardonnay. Malolactic fermentation, plus aging in new, second year, and neutral French Oak, creates a classic Chardonnay. The nose has pronounced aromas of toasted vanilla, followed by green apple on the palate, and a bright, lush finish. 100% estate fruit.

Clear and bright appearance. The nose delivers delicate citrus notes. Medium body and bright acidity on the palate, finishing with a light, flinty feeling. Aged in neutral oak.
Destana
2022
A lovely blend of 38% Viognier, 38% Petit Manseng, and 24% Chardonnay, this wine features honeysuckle and tropical fruit on the nose, with bright acidity mid-palate, followed by a pleasing body and texture in the finish, reflective of aging in 87.5% neutral
French Oak and 12.5% in
1-year French Oak.
Trillium
2022
An elevated experience for lovers of dessert-style wines. The effect of barn-drying a portion of these late-harvest grapes, along with aging in new French Oak and Acacia wood barrels results in a wine rich in complex aromas of honeysuckle, ripe melon, pineapple and vanilla, medium sweetness and body on the palate and a lush, pleasing finish. 100% estate Petit Manseng (late harvest).

This off-dry blend of Vidal Blanc and Petit Manseng begins with a visual clarity that suggests the crispness to come. A rush of apple blossom on the nose becomes a lush (and luscious) mouthfeel. 100% stainless steel.

Our first-ever vintage of this single-varietal Petit Manseng is a wonderful expression of the grape, when not used for a dessert-style wine. Lush tropical fruit on the palate is well balanced with bright acidity on the finish. 100% estate fruit, Mountain Glen Vineyard.

Our 2023 Rosé reflects our continuing devotion to the Provençal style: bright and inviting pale pink; lovely subtle aromas of stone fruit; light bodied with crisp acidity on the palate, and a gentle and pleasing finish. 100% Merlot from our Grayson Vineyard.

A traditional Méthode Champenoise wine made of 100% Chardonnay, this wine is elegant and refreshing. Extremely refined and creamy with exceptional minerality on the long finish.

This elegant light-bodied Merlot is enhanced by traces of Petit Verdot and offers a lovely, gentle tasting experience. Aged 10 months in new French Oak, 75% in neutral French Oak. 100% Valley Road Vineyards estate fruit.

Torn Curtain

Our most popular wine for seven vintages in a row, the 2022 features a pale ruby color and a bit of fruit on the nose. These lead to surprising acidity with tart cranberry and currant on the mid-palate. 62.5% Chambourcin, 18.75% Merlot, 18.75% Petit Verdot. Aged seven months in neutral French oak and thirteen months in bottle.

Our 2022 Cabernet Franc starts with soft floral notes on the nose, before waking your palate with pleasing, peppery spice, and a lingering finish. This light-to-medium bodied wine was aged in a combination of new and neutral French Oak. 100% Valley Road Vineyards estate fruit.

Meritage
2020
Dark fruit on the nose, with medium body. This blend features acidity mid-palate and medium+ tannins. 50% Petit Verdot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Malbec.
Aged 20 months in 50% new oak and 50% neutral oak. Will continue to age in the bottle for five-plus years.
Tannat 2021
A wine rich in antioxidants, the 2021 Tannat has an aromatic nose of black fruit. Its medium body is complemented by medium acidity and refined tannins. Aged 20 months in neutral oak.
Petit Verdot
2020
This vintage of Monticello’s increasingly recognized special varietal produced a surprisingly approachable wine. After two-plus years in French Oak barrels, the restrained tannins make this wine easy to enjoy on its own, and a perfect pairing for beef, pork, and rich cheeses.
