Savor a vertical tasting of one of Valley Road Vineyard's finest red wines – Meritage.

CEO Stan Joynes and General Manager Grayson Poats will describe grape sourcing, vineyard conditions, and the inspiration for the first several vintages of VRV's beloved Meritage wines. Dani Landi of Kaas & Cure Board Co. of Crozet, Virginia will present a menu of delectable hors d'oeuvres, designed to enhance the tasting experience.

This is a rare opportunity to taste a number of VRV’s medal-winning Bordeaux blends, three of which have been placed in our Library and are available only during this special event:

• St. Stephen hand-crafted triple cream on french baguette, drizzled in local honey and fresh berries.

• Humboldt Fog soft-ripened cheese spread on a double baked cranberry pistachio crisp

• Milkboy Swiss Chocolate from Emme-Valley in the Swiss Alps

All wines will be available for purchase. (Note that there will be a bottle purchase limit on certain wines.)

NOTE: Valley Road has opened ticket sales of this popular event early to allow gift purchases for the wine lover on your holiday list or perhaps that person who "has everything."

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

All attendees must be 21 years of age or older and present valid ID to enjoy this event.

What's the refund policy?

Due to the special nature of this event, we regret that we cannot refund any cancellations received later than three days prior to the event.

A note about fees: Eventbrite’s fees are non-refundable, so they won't be returned to the ticket buyer unless the event is canceled, or if the buyer requests a refund for a duplicate charge within 7 days of purchase.

What if I have a special dietary request?

Please carefully review the menu for any allergy concerns. We are not in a position to offer an alternative menu, but can offer duplicate, suitable portions for those selections which don’t meet your needs or preferences.
